Discover the peace of South Estonia through its beautiful landscapes and local flavours. From the amazing views at the top of Suur Munamägi and the scenic Taevaskoda to peaceful bogs and the healing traditions of Värska, this route offers a chance to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of the region.
The starting point of the route is Ööbikuoru valley (Tindi, 66298 Võru County), but you can start wherever you prefer. The route is travelled by car and takes two days to complete. The total driving distance from the starting point to the end point is 188 km.
Route accessibility
This route offers different places to visit that have good physical accessibility, as well as audio recordings, tactile elements and Braille materials. As the nature trails include boardwalks, gravel roads or forest roads with some smaller hilly sections, we recommend travelling with an assistant. Accessible bathrooms are available at several of the places included in the route.
