“Nature Access to All” (NatAc) project team

Mapeirons is a webpage, which provides precise and verified information on sites accessible to people with disabilities, seniors and parents with baby-strollers. It is the first large-scale data base on accessible sites not just in Latvia, but also in the Baltics and Europe.

Mapeirons webpage has been developed and is administered by the association of persons with disabilities and their friends Apeirons. It was significantly improved and updated thanks to Apeirons partners: in 2020 by the Kurzeme Planning Region, West-Estonia Tourism Association, Parnu Municipality and Parks & Wildlife Finland – cooperating under the project No. CB786 “Nature Access to All” (NatAc) supported by the Central Baltic Cooperation Programme 2014-2020, as well in 2024 by Kurzeme and Vidzeme Planning Regions, Estonian Chamber of People with Disabilities, Development Centre of Võru County and Tartu County Tourism Foundation – Lõuna-Eesti DMO – cooperating under the project No. EE-LV00043 “Development of accessible tourism routes”(Access Routes) supported by the Interreg Estonia – Latvia Pogramme 2021-2027.
