The University is both the largest and the most influential establishment of higher education in the country, offering tuition for a wide range of disciplines.

The main entrance is only reachable by a staircases, and thus is inaccessible to wheelchairs. However, a side door exists, which is is accessible form Inženieru street, and has an elevator in addition to a customized toilet. This entrance is, at need, accessed by ringing a nearby bell to notify staff.
