Description:
Pilsētas pastaigu maršruts, ieteicams apmeklētājiem ratiņkrēslos ar asistentu.
The route goes on both sides of the River Daugava and opens wide city views. It allows not to miss the main “must see” objects of Riga, as well as more fancy Āgenskalns area. The route also re-introduces the large Victory park – once known for its memorial glorifying the Soviet Union’s victory in the Second World War, now re-shaped into a modern and green oasis to walk and rest for the whole family.
Park at the Victory square on Hermaņa street – no special parking space for disabled, but parking and getting out of car are easy enough. Accessible toilets are available at the park and further along the route. The route mostly goes on the asphalt and paved surface, which, at some short distances, might be a bit uneven. Assistance is recommended to get into the boat due to a narrow ramp and the City square and Town hall passage due to uneven old brick surface.
