Võru Kannel foundation continues the traditions of the Võru song- and play society Kannel, which was founded in 1881 as one of the first societies in Estonia. Today, Võru Kannel has become a multifunctional cultural center for the city and county of Võru, the goal of which is to promote local culture, develop spiritual life, and provide cultural services to the population through all forms of art. Võru Kannel fulfills the functions of a cultural and social communication center for the locality through organized events and services.
Description
When arriving to the cultural centre Võru Kannel you will find parking lot behind the building. There aren`t any marked parking spots. A ramp to enter the building is also on the side of the parking lot.
We reccommend visiting the cultural centre with an assistant since there is no bell to ring for the entrance. You can call the administrator of the building whom you can call to get help. The phone number is avalaible on the cultural centre webpage and is added in this object descriptions.
You find an accessible toilet in the cultural centre but you can move around in an wheelchair only on the 1st floor of the building.
