These buildings, said to be oldest residences in Old Riga have been preserved from the 15th century. These structures, packed together tightly as brothers, are rumored as having been built by men of the same (extended) family. Oldest of the “brothers “, the house built circa 1490 is plain and almost unadorned, whereas the middle “brother”, dating back to 1646, is decorated most lavishly. The junior of the three seems to be built in the late 17th century. Entry by main gate, toilet for invalids located on the ground floor.
