The design of Tartu Bus Station is dominated by bright orange, and the signs use the same colour scheme and consistent visual design. The building has an automatically opening entrance door, with a raised area in front of the entrance that is level with the doorway. An electronic information board in the waiting area displays the destinations, departure times and platform numbers of departing buses. Both regional and long-distance buses depart from the station, including services to Tallinn, Võru, Valga, Pärnu, Viljandi, Jõgeva, Elva, Põlva and Räpina.
Description
There are tactile guidance paths near the bus station, but they are interrupted in places and do not provide a continuous route from the entrance to the departure platforms. The accessible toilet is located near the ticket office. To use it free of charge, call the security staff on +372 5302 5859, and they will unlock the door.
Parking spaces are available across the street, in front of Hotel Tartu, but there are no designated accessible parking spaces.
