Description
When you reach Tamula then there are marked parking spots in a parking lot near Võru skatepark. The road from the parking lot to the promenade is steep so we recommend coming with an assistant. It is a bit less steep when approaching from the middle section of the promenade, but there aren`t any marked parking sports there. You can park on Karja, Vee and Tartu streets. Tamula beach promenade is about 1km long and is smooth and covered in street stones. It might be a bit uneven when you reach Roosisaare bridge.
On the promenade you find in the summer a cafe and near that cafe there is also a boardwalk to the edge of the water.
On the beach area you can find resting areas and interactive activities for children.
There is a toilet meant for disabled people but access might not be available since it is open only is summer and even then it is locked and the contact number might not be available. A possibility for changing clothes and swimming are not specially created for people with disabilities yet.
