The late-classicist Räpina Mäemõisa manor house, popularly known as Sillapää Castle, was built in the mid-19th century. Initially, the central part and side wings of the building were fully two stories high, while single-story galleries connected them. The rear of the building is adorned with four Ionic columns and a triangular pedimented portico. In 1924, the building began housing the predecessor of the horticultural school. The structure was remodeled into a fully two-story building in 1937–1938.

Today, the manor house hosts the Räpina Local History and Horticulture Museum, Räpina Music School, and Räpina Folk School.

Description:
The castle garden is a pleasant place for a stroll. The pathways are flat and covered with loose gravel, and rest spots can be found along the way. The garden also features different levels connected by stairs.

Restrooms are available at both the Räpina Cultural Center (accessible via a level entrance at the rear of the building near parking spaces for individuals with disabilities) and the castle museum, where a ramp leads from the exterior door to the elevator at the opposite end of the building. The elevator provides access to the museum floor.
