Description:
Räpina beach is located on the shore of Lämmijärv, next to the Räpina port and the Räpina polder birdwatching tower, where conditions have been created for relaxation and water sports. Favorable winds have made Räpina beach a favorite spot for windsurfers in spring, summer, and even winter for kite surfers. The beach offers a wonderful view of the polder, Lämmijärv, and our eastern neighbor, Russia.
For children, there is a fun pirate ship for playing. For a comfortable stay, there is a picnic table with a roof available. The beach has proper changing rooms (not accessible with mobility aids), chairs for enjoying the views, and the beach area is lit by lights. The birdwatching tower is located to the left of the park.
The surface of the path is mostly concrete, and the beach is on a grassy and sandy surface. Access to the water is directly from the shore. There is a public shower room and an accessible toilet, at the entrance, there is a leveled threshold (assistance may be needed) and a ramp with a slope of 10-12%. The boat docks have steep access. To reach the restaurant, one must cross a bridge.
