The Olaine Museum of History and Art opened in 2019. The museum offers visitors six permanent exhibitions, along with other temporary collections The museum also offers changing exhibitions. The museum permanently displays a stuffed bear that the Museum’s patron, Valery Maligin shot in Kamchatka. Visiting he museum is free of charge for all visitors. The museum also has an important role in educating the local society and promoting the regional culture.
The museum is accessible, including an adapted toilet for invalids.The upper floor is accessible via a folding ramp, if an assistant is at hand.
