The Ogre Central Library was founded in 1928, when Ogre was granted city status. The new Ogre Central Library building was inaugurated on June 2, 2021, and the library has been open to the public in the new building since August 9, 2021. Access to the entrance is available with the assistance of a staff member. The premises are spacious and feature accessible restrooms, including a baby changing table; an elevator is available, as well as parking for people with disabilities. Audiobooks are available for people with visual impairments.
