Catering, Accessible to parents with baby-strollers, Partly accessible
Object list
At Murimäe Wine Cellar, visitors can enjoy an authentic wine experience from South Estonia – a visit to the vineyard and wine cellar, an introduction to Nordic grape growing, and workshops and tastings of craft wines (made from grapes and other Estonian ingredients such as sea buckthorn, chokeberry, cherry, rhubarb, and gooseberry). If you wish, you can take part in making your own personalised batch of wine, and for young-at-heart and physically active wine lovers there is an adventurous wine game – wine orienteering. During the winter season, Murimäe also offers a cosy pre-booked group menu for groups of 10 or more, featuring seasonal warm dishes (soups, main courses, desserts). Languages: Estonian, English, Russian.
Description
The tasting venue is located down a slope. Parking is available at the top of the slope in a hardened-surface car park (no designated parking spaces). The tasting rooms are level, with a non-slip stone floor, and there is enough space to move between tables and chairs. Unfortunately, there is no toilet that is independently accessible with a mobility aid (the toilet is located outdoors). Accommodation is on the ground floor.
Visitors with visual impairments are supported by a professional team who will introduce the menu and describe the wines in rich detail. More information about the dishes and wines is available on the Murimäe website.
