Description:
Accessible city walking route (accessible to wheelchair users with an assistant).
The route leads through the famous Liepāja street paintings and the Seaside Park and ends at the newest painting “My country is life” at Kr. Valdemāra Street 56.
Main objects of interest on the route:
Street art route (Old town) 5km, 2h (13 objects)
Start: at the 1st wall painting “Pegasus” or at Peter’s market (Pētertirgus), finish: at the painting “Beach boy” at Liepāja Seaside Park
Accessible WC: Kurzeme square (working time 7:00-23:00, price 20 cents), on the biking path in the Jūrmala Seaside Park
Jūrmala Seaside Park 2km, 1h (accessible beach wooden boardwalks at 3 exits, environmental design objects: letters “Liepāja”, Tree of Ghosts, Alley of Fame of Latvian Musicians, Drums, Wind pavillion).
Between the wooden boardwalks on the beach two of them are connected – at exit at the “7th line” and “Red Sun Buffet”, so they can be hiked loop-type. At the Central Rescue Station, the wooden boardwalk is a “one-way” type – there and back. A beach accessibility complex is also available here, with a swimming wheechair for people with mobility impairments to enjoy swimming in the Baltic Sea.

To finish the route loop-type, after visiting the “Wind Pavillion”, head to he newest painting “My country is life” at Kr. Valdemāra Street 56, 1km, 0,5h.
