On August 10, 1934 the foundation stone of the newly built Liepāja Latvian Society House was laid in the presence of the Prime Minister Kālis Ulmanis himself.In 2004 the Liepāja Latvian Society House experienced its second rebirth, as an extensive renovation of the house was completed.In 2009 the Liepāja Latvian Society House was included in the State List of Protected Cultural Monuments as an architectural monument of local significance.

The Society House has spacious rooms and an adapted toilet. There are 2 ramps outside to get into the House. There is no induction loop and no disabled parking spaces.
