Lake Vanamõisa
Nature trails, Accessible to parents with baby-strollers, Partly accessible
Object list
Both locals and visitors from afar like to spend the summer by Lake Vanamõisa in Tõrva.
Description
There is a designated parking space at the start of the route, right after Tõrva High School, near Tõrva Spa. The route begins on asphalt, but from this parking area the path starts with a downhill section. Trash bins and benches are available at the beginning of the route together with a children’s balance trail.
The first descent is somewhat steep and has loose gravel. The route then continues on a boardwalk, where there are a few obstacles that may make it difficult to pass with a mobility aid. In this case, it may be more practical to park closer to the lake on Õnne Street.
There are three possibilities to go swimming or fishing, etc. All piers have handrails, the one on the pathway is covered with wooden boardwalk, the larger piers have sandy beach in front of them. Different sitting options available on the beach, also with stairs and wooden boardwalk.
Nearest accessible toilet is located in Tõrva Spa.
