Jāzeps Mediņš Riga 1st Music School was established in August 2009. The Music School combines two of the oldest and most experienced music schools in Riga – Jāzeps Mediņš Music School and Riga 1st Music School. The school’s origins date back to 1927, when it operated as the private studio of the well-known pianist Skaidrīte Rozenberga. In 1946 it became a state school and was renamed Riga 1st Music School.
The road to the site is of good width and surface. There is a ramp. There is a dedicated toilet on each floor and a lift. There are no dedicated parking spaces, but if you talk to the school, they give you permission to enter the courtyard.
