The trails along the Emajõgi River offer a chance to enjoy nature and relax. One of the most popular is the Emajõe Riviera, known for its summer concerts. In warm weather, it’s a favourite spot for both locals and visitors, with lively cafés, bars, and restaurants.
Description
While walking along the Riviera, you can pass by the Botanical Gardens, which also has a toilet accessible during opening hours. There are different benches on the trail. From there, it’s easy to return to Rüütli Street—one of Tartu’s main thoroughfares. On the way, you’ll pass Tartu St. John’s Church. Please note: the church has steps at the entrance, and the pavement nearby is mostly uneven or cobblestoned.
There are no tactile signs, guiding paths, or other elements to support visually impaired visitors along the route.
