The Bolderāja Branch Library of the Riga Central Library was founded on March 1, 1925, as Riga’s 8th library. It has been housed in various buildings. Since 1986, it has been housed in a post office building constructed in 1939.
The first floor of the library is accessible to people with mobility impairments, those in wheelchairs, and those with strollers. A ramp has been installed at the library. Restrooms are accessible. Barriers: high thresholds, doors must be opened (assistance required), the library’s second floor is not accessible.
