Description:

The only windmill park in Saaremaa that gives you an idea of windmills built at the beginning of the 20th century. Four of the five Angla windmills are typical trestle windmills, characteristic of the island of Saaremaa. One of the key elements of the Angla Windmill park complex is the Angla Heritage Centre, which was opened in 2011. At the centre you can test your skills at traditional handicrafts, take part in heritage culture events and taste Angla rye bread.
