Ivars Balodis, Chairman of the Association for People with Disabilities and Their Friends “Apeirons,” has been appointed as one of the ambassadors for Liepāja’s European Capital of Culture initiative, “Liepāja 2027.”
Ivars describes Liepāja as a beautiful, creative, and inspiring city that not only delights with its culture and environment but also offers immense opportunities for improving accessibility. His perspective highlights the need to develop a city that supports and includes people with disabilities, making it a place where everyone can feel a sense of belonging.
