Mapeirons is a webpage, which provides precise and verified information on sites accessible to people with disabilities, seniors and parents with baby-strollers. It is the first large-scale data base on accessible sites not just in Latvia, but also in the Baltics and Europe.
Mapeirons webpage has been developed and is administered by the association of persons with disabilities and their friends Apeirons. It was significantly improved and updated in 2020, thanks to Apeirons partners – Kurzeme Planning Region, West-Estonia Tourism Association, Parnu Municipality and Parks & Wildlife Finland – cooperating under the project No. CB786 “Nature Access to All” (NatAc) supported by the Central Baltic Cooperation Programme 2014-2020.
