Description:
The boardwalks have been constructed to discover the flood-land meadows of the River Svēte – leisurely walks in nature on the outskirts of the city and observing the flora and fauna of the floodplain meadows. The boardwalks are built 1,5 m high to ensure safe and comfortable walk during the flooding season. The boardwalks are installed in two zones – the short path and the long path, both connected with a gravel road.
