Accessibility

Description

Parking is available behind the building if there are free spaces. From there, a separate entrance leads directly to the service counter, but there is a high threshold at the door. Step-free access is available from the front of the building, on the Vabaduse Street side.

On the ground floor, there is a service counter; no induction loop is installed. Ticket prices are displayed on laminated paper, and the staff can assist with selecting the correct ticket. A partially accessible toilet is located on the ground floor (a large electric wheelchair may not fit).

There is an elevator for moving between floors, but it does not reach the top floor, where the Soviet-era exhibition is located. Some exhibition rooms have historically accurate high thresholds; only the painting exhibition area is fully level.

Many parts of the exhibition are behind glass and are not touchable. No descriptive texts, tactile elements, or directional guidance have been implemented. Visitors are advised to come with a companion if necessary.
