It’s 95 km from Riga to Zvanu cliffs in Cēsis. You can go there by car. To take the trail to Zvanu cliffs, then in Cēsis, driving along Gaujas street, before the bridge over Gauja, turn on to Mūrlejas street and after about 300 meters you can park your car. The trail to Zvanu cliffs was built in 2017. The cliffs are like a small outcrop of sandstone, and several springs flow from it. The cliffs got their name from the bells carved into the cliffs. During the first independence of Latvia, Zvanu cliffs was a well-known place, but after that it was overgrown with trees and remained hidden from people’s eyes. The boardwalk along the Zvanu cliffs is almost 360 meters long. The length of the trail from the parking lot to the foot of the cliff and back is about 900 meters.
– There is no parking for people with disabilities
– There is no adapted toilet for people with mobility impairments
– Moving from the parking lot to the trail and along the trail is preferable with the help of an assistant, because there is no curb to be able to get on the trail, and in some places the cross slope is also too big
– The width of the path is 1.50 meters. You can change places by entering the viewing platform
– There is an information board at the beginning of the trail
– At the end of the trail there is an information board about the cliffs. There are benches, but no handles
