Betti Alver is a dearly beloved Estonian female poet, prose writer, and translator.
Description
When arriving to The Betti Alver Museum you can easily park to the left of the building at a parking lot. the entrance of the museum where you can easily also move towards the museum. Designated parking spaces for people with disabilities are not available. An adjustable ramp (consisting of two parts) is used for entry, and installation requires calling a museum staff member at +372 558 0071 (currently, there is no information sign available). There is a threshold and a vestibule at the entrance, so it is necessary to come with a companion. Movement inside the rooms is possible; some rooms have thresholds at the entrances, while others do not.
An accessible restroom is available, with a small button for locking (not a turnable lock handle, due to heritage conservation requirements). An audio guide is available in Estonian, English, and Russian.
Free admission: For disabled persons up to 16 years old with a disability card and their companion.
For persons aged 16 and older with a profound or severe disability and their companion, based on a disability card.
