Description:

The trail streches along the coast of the Salaca River and is particularly charming thanks to the red sandstone outcrops of the Devonian period. There are many wooden sculptures along the entire trail up until the most famous object at the end of the trail – the 20 m high Skaņaiskalns cliff. There is also a 14 m long Devil’s cave, the Devil’s Stone and the Devil’s Chancellery, which opens a great view over the Salaca River from the Nelļķu (ENG – carnation) Cliffs, as well as many other objects of interest.  The asphalt part of the trail is wheelchair accessible.
