Science centre “AHHAA”
Education, Accessible, Accessible to parents with baby-strollers
Object list
Largest science centre in the Baltics
Description
When arriving at AHHAA we recommend parking to the centre underground parking lot since you will find several marked parking spots right near the entrance and all parking is free for visitors (parking ticket has to be validated). The doors are wide and you will find guiding contrast signs to find your way.
There is an elevator that will take you to the front desk. When arriving without a car the main entrance has a sign that sends visitors to follow a ramp on the left side to enter the science centre. You will find everything rather accommodating since the centre is all over well signed and has several accessible toilets on different floors.
The centre also offers a chance for small rest and a meal. There might be some assistance from the staff needed when visiting since the centre is rather big with different entrances and activities and some might not be accessible but there is something to do for all as there is quite a lot to touch, see and also it is possible to join guided tours and shows in the planetarium.
You can also use a wheelchair that the centre offers for visitors in need to go around in AHHAA. There is also a quiet room where mothers with babies can slow down and feed the child.
Be sure to check the science centre home page as they have extra information about visiting them.
