Description:

Pāvilosta pier promanede was opened very recently – in 2020. It allows the visitors to leisurely watch the small fishing boats and yachts moored in the port, the sandy sea-shore and feel the cool sea breeze. The promenade part is only 200 m long, but the most adventurous visitors may stretch their legs and extend the walk along the pier, reaching the historic lighthouse at the end of the North pier. Be a bit careful here, as the first stretch of the pier is laid down of boulders and you shall need to jump from one to another, though this just makes the trail much more exciting! For people in wheelchairs only the promenade part is accessible, though.
