The Old St. Gertrude Lutheran Church is a typical example of eclecticism in Neo-Gothic forms. The exterior walls are finished with red brick and architectural elements cast in concrete. The church organ was built in 1906 and is one of the best and most melodious in Riga. The building is accessible on a fairly level surface and the road is of sufficient width. The second floor is not open to the public. There is a pavement before the ramp to enter the church.
