The Cinema Museum consists of exhibition spaces and an office at 58A Miera Street in Riga, and a collection located at 8 Pulka Street in Pārdaugava. In 2020, the Latvian Cinema Museum’s collection was moved to new, specially adapted premises at 8 Pulka Street. Over time, the Cinema Museum has changed its location several times, including premises in the Riga Video Center, the former Illegal Press Museum on Krāslavas Street, the Film, Photo and Sound Archive, and the Riga Film Studio. On May 19, 2006, as a structural unit of the state agency “National Film Center,” the Film Museum returned to its original address at 10 Peitavas Street and quickly became a brand in the Latvian cultural environment. In April 2025, the museum moved to premises in the former tobacco factory at 58A Miera Street. Admission fees: Film Museum – kinomuzejs

The museum is easily accessible. It is located at the end of the Latvian Academy of Culture. Upon entering the building, you can reach the museum premises by elevator. There are markings on the stairs. You can move freely around the museum premises. There is also an adapted toilet inside. It is also possible to listen to excerpts from films on headphones. Renovation is planned soon, and it will be possible to access the premises via a ramp. There will also be a café and a 60-seat cinema. There is a large parking lot, but it is not currently adapted for people with disabilities.
