On the coast of Lake Jugla there is a brand new and very nice walking path called “Feel Jugla” with many interesting tactile bird and fish plates.  This place shall also be appreciated by bird watchers. In the middle of the boardwalk there is a viewing platform with benches opening a nice view to the lake, Open-air museum and Riga city suburb area called Berģi. Some hints:

– Moving along the wooden boardwalk is convenient enough, though assistant’s help is suggested, especially if you want to accomplish the trail loop-type and move also along the park forest paths

– There is a spacious parking lot, but no specific place marked for wheelchair users, there’s also no toilet for the disabled at the site

– Wooden boardwalk is linear, but if you take also the park forest paths, the trail can be hiked loop-type as well.

Download the GPX of the trail
