Krustpils castle is one of the oldest castles in Latvia. It was built in 1237 by Nikolajs de Magdeburgs, Archbishop of Riga. Since 1996, Krustpils Castle has housed the Jēkabpils History Museum. Krustpils Castle is a national architectural and archaeological monument. Admission fees: Cenas
There are parking spaces for disabled people near the castle, and wheelchair users can also access the castle via a ramp from the visitor center. However, it can be difficult to move around on the cobblestones, so it is recommended to visit the castle with an assistant. There is also an accessible toilet inside. The other floors are not accessible, so people with mobility impairments can only view the ground floor.
