Housed in the premises of the Academia Petrina, the school once attended by two Latvian presidents and one dictator, this building is one of the few structures remaining in the city from before the Second World War. Named after the remarkable Latvian painter, Ģederts Eliass, the Museum offers free entrance to all invalids, as well as for their assistants. The Museum has wide rooms and corridors, delibrately free of any thresholds. and includes an accessible toilet. Uppper floors accessible by elevator, excluding only the watching tower. As the outer door is heavy, a doorbell button outside will notify the Museum staff.
