Roadside rest area on the shore of a lake. Offers opportunities for swimming and walking in the park. In the Erastvere oak grove, you can find the Ungern-Sternberg family cemetery and chapel, established in 1883. From the camping area, you can access a 1 km walking trail that introduces the local history and nature, as well as the 38 km circular Kooraste cycling route, which runs through a varied landscape along village and forest roads. Along the route, you can enjoy views of 15 lakes, many of which have RMK campfire sites suitable for rest stops. A few kilometers towards Põlva from the camping area stands a memorial stone commemorating the Battle of Erastvere during the Great Northern War.

Description:

The tenting area offers a rest stop for travelers and cyclists. Visitors can enjoy a refreshing swim either from the sandy beach or from a small pier. Although the tentingarea includes an outdoor toilet, please note that it is not wheelchair accessible and the toilet cabin is relatively small in size. Informatin boards on-site introduce nearby points of interest, such as the historic Erastvere Manor, the family cemetery and nature. A short in-and-out trail begins at the site, following a gravel path and grassy terrain, inviting visitors to explore the surrounding nature.
