Description:
This is a gorgeous viewing spot at the high Beite ravine. It acquired its name after the Russian Emperor Alexander II visited Sigulda. The length of the path from the parking lot to the Emperor’s view is about 350 m one way. There is a steep slope in the beginning of the path, but is manageable for wheelchair users with the help of an assistant.
Stairs from the viewing platform go down to the interest object called Velnala (Devil’s cave) – this stretch is not accessible to wheelchair users.
