Durbe Manor is one of the most interesting classicism style castles in Kurzeme. It was built already in 1671 and, over the years, has been reconstructed several times.

Manor’s exhibition halls offer to see various culturally historical exhibitions on manors, and the 1st floor presents the interior of the 19th century countryside manor.
Around the manor, in the beginning of 19th century, there was a nice landscape park established with architectural monuments – a rotunda and a stone bridge over a ravine.
Durbe Manor is accessible to wheelchair users with an asistant:
-it is possible to drive by car and leave it closer to the side entrance of the manor;
-there is rough paved path leading from the parking lot to the side entrance door, which is not even and can make it difficult to move with a wheelchair; -the side entrance doorway is wide enough, but there’s a threshold, which can be an obstacle for electric wheelchair users;
-the door of the toilet for disabled persons opens inwards, therefore the maneuvering area inside the toilet is not sufficient for a wheelchair user to enter the toilet and close the door;
-there is a chair-lift to the 2nd and 3rd floor and part of manor’s exhibition halls are accessible, yet there are many small thresholds inside; some of the exhibition stands are not fully reachable.

Interpretation solutions for people with visual impairment (e.g., tactile pictures, modules, sculptures etc.) have not yet been provided.
