In close cooperation with the Blindness association, this uncommon library offers audiobooks for blind customers, along with other audio devices for those struggling with reading difficulties. In addition, the head librarian, despite herself suffering from speech impediments, has lead her team in aiding and supporting other invalids in rejoining societal life.
The library is equipped with an elevator, accessible toilet, a specialized computer for visually challenged users. The library was awarded the annual award for accessibility in 2009.
