The Rothko Museum is a multifunctional contemporary art, culture and education centre in the Daugavpils Fortress, in the historic artillery arsenal building. It is the only place in Eastern Europe where you can get acquainted with the works of Mark Rothko (1903-1970), the world-famous American artist born in Daugavpils, the founder of abstract expressionism and colour square painting, in an expanded exhibition.

The Rothko Museum is accessible to people with reduced mobility. The exhibition halls on the 1st and 2nd floors are connected by lift. A specially equipped toilet is available for people with reduced mobility. A wheelchair is available to use to visit the Rothko Museum. There is also parking for people with disabilities.
