Lake Ciecere in Brocēni – one of the most picturesque and active lakes in Kurzeme. Its shores in Brocēni and the surrounding area offer everything – from a well-equipped swimming area with children’s playgrounds to an exciting water park, SUP and boat rental, boat trips and sports activities. Here you can enjoy both peaceful walks along the lakeshore and nature trails, as well as entertainment with friends on the water or a camping atmosphere by the campfire.
The lake is also a center of cultural and social events – every summer sports competitions, festivals and concerts are held there. Lake Ciecere combines relaxation, entertainment and proximity to nature.
By the lake, near the cultural center, there is a well-maintained public swimming area with a boardwalk, recreation areas, a children’s playground, volleyball courts, and a changing cabin. However, the changing cabin is not adapted for people with mobility impairments.
However, there is a walking trail and a boardwalk along the lakeshore, which allows you to explore the lake from a different perspective.
Meanwhile, at the small port of Ciecere, there is an adapted changing cabin and the opportunity to go on a trip on the small boat “Zezer”.
