Camping “Apaļkalns” is located 10 km from the center of Cēsis, in Raiskums. At the campsite, you will peacefully enjoy the fabulous nature of the surroundings, listening to its clear sounds and watching the Raiskuma lake shining in the sun, the green meadows and thick trees. Benches are located on the shores of Raiskumas lake, so that you can sit down for a while while walking, relax and comfortably enjoy the picturesque nature views.

Camping “Apaļkalns” is one of the few campings in Latvia where people with significant mobility impairments can stay overnight and spend time. You can drive your car onto the site and park it in a convenient place, including next to your cabin. There is a stable surface next to the cabin where you can park your car and move around in a wheelchair to the cabin entrance ramp. The main routes in the campsite have a stable gravel surface that is suitable for wheelchairs, but in some places the natural terrain is such that assistance is required when using a manual wheelchair. Electric wheelchairs and electric scooters can move around without any obstacles. There are five cabins in total that are accessible to people with significant mobility impairments. It should be noted that only two of the accessible cottages have a toilet and shower. It should be noted that these bathrooms are not specially adapted, but there are no thresholds and the toilet will be suitable for some users. For people who use wheelchairs and need a more adapted toilet, there is a separate toilet block on the campsite grounds, which combines a toilet and shower room. There is a kitchen in a separate building on the campsite grounds, which is also accessible to wheelchair users. There are currently no facilities at the swimming areas to make swimming easier for people with functional impairments.
