“Nature Access to All” (NatAc) project team

Mapeurons.eu is much more than just a database – it is a convenient and safe guide for everyone who wants to discover and enjoy the available destinations of Latvia and the Baltics! On our website you can find extensive information about public places, cafes and restaurants, nature parks, museums and many other interesting places that are also accessible to people with visual, hearing or mobility impairments. Mapeyron has been designed with seniors, parents with children and everyone for whom accessibility is important, offering verified and accurate information about the range of available places both in cities and in nature.

Mapeyrons.eu was created by the “Apeirons” association of disabled people and their friends, and this is the first database of such large-scale accessible places in the Baltics and Europe. Since 2020, thanks to the cooperation with the Kurzeme and Vidzeme planning regions, Estonian, Finnish and Pärnu region partners, we are constantly expanding and renewing the content of the website. Projects such as “Access to nature for all” (NatAc) and “Development of accessible tourist routes” (Access Routes) help us create and improve accessible tourist routes, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to explore Latvia’s most beautiful places freely and without obstacles.
